Jia Yin

President

I’ve always loved the arts since a very young age! My parents enrolled me in art class when I was 7 and I’ve been doing art ever since. Starting out from crayons as all kids did back then, I’ve also dabbled in chalk (for 3 years!!), watercolour, acrylic, gouache and digital art. Although I’m no longer attending the class, my love for drawing and painting still stuck with me. Art has now become a form of comfort to tide me through difficult and stressful times during university.

Hi, everyone. I'm Debbie, a Year 4 InfoSec major! I love exploring the space where creativity and technology meet, and do that through creating various graphic designs and web applications. During my free time, I dabble and create minimalistic botanicals with the use of playful colours and a variety of mediums.

Anushka

I'm Anushka, a Y4 sociology major! I like exploring different forms of dance and visual arts. I have recently been trying out more water sports like sailing and stand up paddling :)

Shian Yin

In the past, I loved to doodle on my worksheets and experiment with different mediums. Then, I had a very bad art block period--3 years!-- in which it was difficult to draw or create anything. But when I came to university, I started to create more, experiment more, and love art more. So although art sometimes doesn't love me back, I've been progressing back into drawing again. Nowadays I like to draw K-pop idols (good for anatomy practice!) and I do digital art and gouache.

I'm Joel, and I have always enjoyed drawing and painting. I am especially fond of ink as it is a medium that is easily controlled and since it's so strong and dark, it easily provides dramatic contrasts in my illustrations. I like making illustrations with surreal themes, finding that such themes match my style of drawing.

Hi everyone! I’m Christina, a Y4 senior from FASS and I’m one of the publicity managers in NUS Arttero. I like drawing and colouring and am dabbling in digital art. In my free time, visiting art museums provides me with some form of stress relief. And yes, I like to listen to Kpop too :-)

Hello! My name is Dahnvi. (Pronounced: Den Phee) I am a Year 4 Social work student. I enjoy working with various mediums such as watercolour, oil pastels, gouache and clay. I am always open to learning all forms of art. I am by no means a professional but art has always been a place of solace and refuge for me amidst the bustling Singaporean life.

Hello, I'm Jolin. I'm currently a Y3 in FASS doing psych and social work! I'm one of the welfare managers for Arttero for this AY, hoping to plan more fun activities for everyone to enjoy even in this weird unpredictable covid time. I don't really have much artistic background but I do leisurely do random sketches every now and then.

I am Yin Tong, a year 3 student majoring in Social Work! I enjoy Nagomi art and am exploring digital art. After seeing how art can be therapeutic and help people express themselves, I decided to learn more about it and learn how to help others through art!

Hello, I am Cynthia and currently in year 2 Data Science & Analytics and one of the current Arttero Publicity Managers. Fun fact about me - love fisherman’s friend, hate cheese. And I am addicted to coffee! My mum was the one who inspired me to dive into painting & which has now become my form of stress relief.
