Frequently Asked Questions

We organize 5 different types of events namely,
1.    Art Ventures - We make trips to various places such as museums, art exhibitions, and gardens to engage in and learn more about art. 
2.    Art Jams - What's better than doing art? Doing art with friends! Make new friends while creating your own art pieces, with a medium of your choice, during our themed Art Jam sessions.
3.    Art Workshops by professionals - We engage vendors to bring you fun and enriching workshops on a range of art mediums from pottery to oil painting. 
4.    Art Sessions by EXCO/alumni/members - Arttero has many artistically talented members who are happy to share their tips and tricks. In Art Sessions, members can learn from them and pick up new art skills! Drop us a message if you're an Arttero member or alumni who would like to share and contribute to this learning experience!
5.    Welfare events - We have celebrations and goodies to brighten up your uni life throughout the year! 

Arttero events are on an ad-hoc basis, but are usually held once/twice a week. Details of events will be publicized in our Telegram group and on our Instagram for sign-ups.​ There is no attendance commitment, so you can join according to your schedule. 

No! We are beginner-friendly and welcome all regardless of artistic background to learn and enjoy art. 

Art Jams: Art materials are usually not provided because it is up to the members what medium they would like to use.

Art Sessions: Art materials may be provided, depending on the teacher.

Art Workshops: Art materials will be provided by the vendor. 

From AY21/22 Semester 2 onwards, membership fees are ceased. Hence, membership to Arttero is free. However, Art Workshops will require payment, though we strive to work with the vendors to offer subsidized rates. Details on payment will vary based on the workshop organized.
